MSC Cruises and Fincantieri, heir to the great tradition of Italian shipbuilding and one of the largest shipbuilding groups in the world, signaled a significant milestone in the construction of the MSC Seaside with the celebration of the traditional coin ceremony that took place at the Italian shipyard, In Monfalcone. 

The first of up to three smart ships of MSC Cruises' next-generation "Seaside" class will be delivered in December 2017 and will sail throughout the year from Miami to the Caribbean.

MSC Seaside is an essential pillar of the company's € 9 billion investment plan for more than 10 years, including the construction of up to 11 new next-generation smart ships to be delivered between 2017 and 2026.
