Depois de já ter construído o maior navio de cruzeiro do mundo, o Harmony of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean vai suplantar-se a si própria e construir um navio ainda maior. O Symphony of the Seas vai fazer a sua viagem inaugural a 21 de Abril de 2018 e vai ter a altura da Torra de Pisa.
Atualmente em construção no porto de Saint-Nazaire, em França, o Symphony of the Seas vai ser o 25.º navio de cruzeiro da frota da Royal Caribbean. Quando ficar pronto, vai ter 362 metros de comprimento e 18 conveses de altura, o equivalante a cerca de 55 metros. O Symphony vai ter um total de 2775 quartos para um máximo de 6780 passageiros, mais 28 que o Harmony, e vai contar com uma tripulação de 2175 pessoas.
Por dentro, o Symphony of the Seas tem tamanho suficiente para albergar sete “cidades” diferentes, incluindo espaço para um escorrega de água de 10 andares, um solário com piscina adjunta, zonas para divertimento infantil e 14 cafés e restaurantes diferentes.
Once you have built the world's largest cruise ship, the Harmony of the Seas, Royal Caribbean will supplant itself and build an even larger ship. The Symphony of the Seas will make its maiden voyage on April 21, 2018 and will have the height of the Torra de Pisa.
Currently under construction at the Saint-Nazaire port in France, Symphony of the Seas will be the 25th Royal Caribbean Fleet Cruise Ship. When ready, it will be 362 meters long and 18 tall decks, the equivalent of about 55 meters. The Symphony will have a total of 2775 rooms for a maximum of 6780 passengers, 28 more than the Harmony, and will have a crew of 2175 people.
Inside, the Symphony of the Seas is large enough to hold seven different "cities", including space for a 10-story water slide, a solarium with attached pool, playgrounds for children and 14 different cafes and restaurants.
